What types of roles are you recruiting for? |

We are looking for Finance and Management graduate trainees. For more information on the programmes, please see the ‘About the Scheme’ page. Please note that for the finance programme you must have a finance related degree. |

Which locations are you recruiting for? |
| A: |
Our graduate scheme is rotational which means that you won’t work at just one site while on the scheme. Most of our offices are located in the south east of England and you must be prepared to travel or relocate to work at any of them for the duration of your placements. |

Generally our new recruits will start in the August or September. |

What qualifications do I need to be considered for the scheme? |
| A: |
Bachelor degrees are the minimum level required, with a grade of 2:1 or above. However for the Finance stream you need to have done a finance/accountancy related degree. |

Can I choose which VT divisions I do my placements in? |
| A: |
As part of the graduate scheme you are expected to complete placements in all 4 of our UK divisions, your first placement is decided before you start based on your past experience and personal attributes. The second placement is in a pre-selected division, however you will have a choice over which what role you take. Your third and fourth placements are up to you! |

Can I choose the location of my placements? |

As part of the VT graduate scheme you are expected to relocate as required by the division you are working for. We expect that the location of placements should not form part of your decision; it should be based on the placement that best suits your personal development and the business needs. |

What support is available when doing further qualifications? |
| A: |
Management and Finance graduates will both have their courses, exams and course materials funded by VT. Finance graduates studying for their professional qualifications will also be given study leave before your exams. |

Why do you prefer to hire employees with a university degree? |
| A: |
The graduate scheme is aiming to recruit people who will join the talent management pipeline and will ultimately be making crucial business decisions in a relatively short period of time. Do I need a work permit to work for VT Group plc? |
| A: |
Yes, you will need a work permit that authorises you to live and work in the European Union. VT will not assist anyone in gaining a work permit. |

Do I require a driving license/car? |
| A: |
For almost all your placements on the VT graduate scheme, the ability to drive and the ownership of a car will be essential as our office are often in out of town locations with little or no public transport links. The ability to drive will be taken into account when making our selections. You will however receive mileage when driving on business and some daily commutes will also allow the claiming of mileage.
