The Household and commercial waste sector has enabled us to take advantage of the Group’s project management skills, Private Finance Initiative (PFI) experience, systems integration experience and a proven ability to work with the Government.

Waste management has traditionally been a logistics business. This is changing as the move to treat waste as a resource focuses attention on maximising value from what was discarded. We work with experience technology partners and apply our project management and engineering expertise to bring innovative solutions to the waste management market.

VT provides an overarching project management role bringing together construction, commissioning and commencement of operations for commercial waste projects. We will then operate and maintain the facilities for the life of the contract.

We pride ourselves on the delivery of long term service contracts, many of which are in excess of ten years in length. These enable VT to form successful partnerships with its customers and suppliers.

Finance

VT has significant experience of PFI programmes, and working with Government organisations. Where necessary VT can provide project finance and will undertake the necessary due diligence to ensure the project is viable.

VT has established skills and experience in PFI’s, project management and long term service delivery, bringing together technologies and services to meet customers requirements.
